Paljetteja ja mokkaa – siinä taas pari suosikkijuttuani. Huomaan itsekin, että käytän vähän turhan usein termiä suosikki, mutta toisaalta mikäs sen mukavampaa kuin vaatekaappi täynnä suosikkeja! Ihan kivat saavat jäädä kauppaan vastaisuudessakin... Hyvistä ostopäätöksistä kielii sekin, että asussa esiintyvät suosikit ovat kaikki jo yli vuoden vanhoja ja siitä huolimatta niihin pukeutuminen ilahduttaa minua yhä.
Mokkatakki kuuluu ehdottomasti viime vuosien parhaimpiin ostoksiini, se on minun silmääni täydellinen! Olin haaveillut beigestä mokkatakista jo pitkään kunnes lopulta löysin tämän kaunokaisen Mangosta viime vuoden keväällä. Takki oli ilmeisen suosittu ja sen saaminen vaati pitkäjänteisyyttä, mutta kun vihdoin sain oman koon käsiini ja takki istui päälle erinomaisesti, ei ostopäätöstä tarvinnut kauaa vatvoa.
Sequins and suede – a couple of my favorite things. I notice I use the term favorite quite a lot, but then again isn't it great to have a wardrobe full of favorites? The 'nice' ones can stay at the stores for all I care... Another sign of good purchases is that the favorites in this outfit are all over a year old and I still feel joy every time I wear them.
This suede jacket is without a doubt one of my best purchases from last year, it just looks perfect to me! I'd been craving for a beige suede jacket for a long time until I found this stunner from Mango spring last year. It was so popular that it took me a lot of patience to get mine, but when I finally got my hands on one in my size and it fit perfectly, I just couldn't not buy it.
Pidän jatkuvasti silmällä Mangon nahkatakkivalikoimaa mainion hinta-laatusuhteen vuoksi. Oma takkini maksoi satasen, joka on mielestäni hyvä hinta aidosta nahasta. Eikä tämä ole edes superpelkistetty kuten laadukkaista materiaaleista valmistetut edulliset tuotteet usein ovat, vaan yksityiskohtia löytyy. Epoletit olkapäillä, vetoketjut hihansuissa sekä taskut ja napit tekevät tästä todella viimeistellyn oloisen. Lämminsävyisen beigen ja kultaisten metalliosien liitto hivelee silmää. Jos jotain huonoja puolia pitäisi etsiä, niin vaalea mokka on aika herkkä materiaali enkä uskalla pukea takkia mikäli ennusteessa on pienikin sadepisara ja muutenkin se päällä olen ekstravarovainen, etten vain tuhrisi sitä.
I keep a constant eye on Mango's leather jacket selection as they're affordable yet beautiful. This jacket cost me 99 euros, which I think is a great price for real leather. And this isn't even super plain like affordably priced items in good materials often tend to be. All the details like the epaulets on the shoulders, the zipped cuffs and the pockets and buttons give it a perfect finish. The warm tone of beige and the gold hardware make a beautiful combination. If I had to think of some negatives, light colored suede is very delicate and if there's even a slight chance of rain, this jacket stays at home, and whenever I'm wearing it, I'm extra careful not to smudge it.
Pehmeän mokan alta pilkistää vähän blingiä ruskean paljettipaidan muodossa, suosikki viime vuodelta sekin. Neutraali ruskeansävyinen värimaailma jatkui myös asusteissa ja nämä konjakinväriset herrainkengät ovat yksi käytetyimmistä korkkaripareistani. Se myös näkyy, erityisesti korkojen lukuisista kolhuista ja nirhaumista... Vietävän mukulakivet!
Underneath the soft suede, I've got a glimmer of bling in the form of a brown sequin t-shirt, another favorite from last year. The accessories followed the neutral brown-toned colorscheme and these comfy cognac oxfords are one of my most used heels ever. It does show too, especially in the many marks and dents in the heels... Damn those cobblestones!
Ja hei, vaikken todellakaan ole mikään syksyfani, niin oranssit puut olivat kyllä kiva kuvaustausta ja entäs toi valo? Vastavalo ei ehkä nosta kaikkia värejä oikeuksiinsa, mutta luo kuviin ihan oman tunnelmansa. Ihanaa uutta viikkoa sinulle!
And hey, even though I'm definitely not a fan of autumn, the orange leaves make a great background to outfit photos and how about the light? Backlighting might not bring the best out of all colors, but it does add a lovely, warm feeling to the photos. I wish you lovely new week!
